Kem cards pixelated jokers (1 Viewer)

That's a printing/production error, and an easy one to make. The entire deck will be in a layout, and any images in the layout will be lo-res previews, which link to a hi-res file on the network. If the file was accidentally renamed, moved etc. the lo-res version will be printed causing that pixilation. This would have been missed in the pre-print file checks and in the proofing process.

After it was printed, either QC missed it, or they saw it and because they are jokers and still functional they let it go by. Bummer no doubt though.
Unfortunately, this issue is still ongoing. I just bought a set of Kem's last month and got pixelated Jokers. I sent a support email a while back and never got a response.

New decks opened today, both decks have pixelated jokers. Other deck's code is 4121 (did we ever figure out what the hell these USPC codes mean?)

These decks were also packed in a weird order (spades, clubs, hearts, diamonds, not the normal alternating colors). I'd love to know what the hell is going on at USPC/Carta Mundi/whoever the hell owns them this week...

Best feeling ? IMHO...maybe yes.
Objectively, these are the worst value of all cards I know.

They are nice cards but the diva demands regarding storage and the outrageous pricing pushed me to much better options.
The people at KEM should have their head checked...it's not the nineties and the direct competition (or should I say mama Cartumundi) has not taken a back seat.
Can't imagine them being in business for much longer, paging Turnhout to clean ship :)

I just received an order from Kardwell which included 2 sets of Kem cards. One of the sets (manufactured in 2021) had the pixelated Jokers. The other set had a strange issue, which, I will start a thread on as soon as I can take some pics in the next few hours, as I'd like to know if anyone has ever received Kems with this particular "problem" (all 4 corners of both decks with the corners trimmed).

I suspect the first 2 digits refer to the week of manufacture (only speculation) and the last 2 refer to the year of manufacture. Mine also arrived in the same order...odd.

I just got a setup of jumbo index, made in September 2021 and the jumbo index jokers are even worse. How long has this been going on? Does anyone have a deck newer then Sept 21 that doesn't have pixelated jokers?
