Is this verbal declaration binding?
I won't say who this shady character is, but lets just say his name may rhyme with Tweakerbang.
He made the post below, and now when I try to contact him for to formalize his HUSKER table order, he is ghosting me.

I think the elders should confer and had down a ruling, this one is tricky.

I can't believe you'd sit there (or stand) with a straight face and actually say that! There was no "no take backs" called, and, his fingers were crossed. He got outplayed on this one. Clear as day!
its Beaker, I am more concerned with him losing! :ROFLMAO:

Not binding. Terms are undefined.

Nebraska beats Iowa at what? Hot dog consumption? Adult unemployment rate? Number of Wal-Mart stores per capita?
Terms are adequately defined imo -- so long as Nebraska beat Iowa at ANYTHING on the following day, the verbal statement is binding.

Pretty sure Nebraska won at all of these yesterday. Go ahead make some more shit up. Iowa lost at that too!

Well, if we take it as a given that Iowa loses at everything, then verbal is binding. If taken to court, and the "reasonable person" would assume that Iowa loses at everything, then that will just back it up.
