Is there a way to opt out of the new sales notification/invoice thing that constantly has a red mark next to it?

@Tommy

Not sure what your point is @WedgeRock. I didn’t buy any of his chips yet. This thing appears after you buy something. But if you are being cute about something else let me know and I’ll address that too.

For site support, please DM me or post here.

Go into the transaction and update the status and save.
This is required for each step of the transaction.
I could not figure out why the alert would not go away but that was why.

One thing I did not figure out: I just had my 1st auction BIN sale and noticed the username is nowhere.
The auction shows as sold but nothing in the 'bids' or 'discussion'. Just an anonymous name and address in 'my sales'

edit: found it
on the bid, gallery, & overview (not discussion or summary screen):

My sales widget vanished. :(
I was finding it useful and it was not too difficult to figure out the workflow.
What happened?

just put him on block :p
Haha that’s just the notifications after both me and him worked to clear the alerts from the other thing.

What was the “good” you were getting out of this? Specifically how did this help your buying or selling process?

I found going to one widget for sales/purchases easier to track than fishing thru DM/PMs and having to remember if I missed someone in that mess.

Seems simple enough, and I am sure has internal tracking would help resolve issues should they arise.
Shows a list of sales/purchases in one spot as well as specific alerts at top for next step in the sale.
I can't see it now but generally: Confirm address / Confirm payment / confirm preparing / confirm shipped & closed. Boom.

Not sure why you had repeated alerts for the same thing.
My guess is that he clicked on 'save' multiple times thinking to sales alert flag would go away w/o dropping down to save the next step?
I did that allot at first trying to figure out why the action required alert did not go away or the auction did not close after I clicked on save for the 1st step.

As a buyer it does nothing for me that trust doesn’t do. If that’s gone the sites gone.

Compromising or enhancing trust was not the point.
I feel it looked to be a promising site-tool/feature. I was willing to try it, that's all.

So is it turned off because too many complaints?
Or is it because I still use W7 and an expired browser?
