Hi PCF - I'm an advantage blackjack player who's been looking to get some nicer chips. My needs will differ as I primarily will be using these chips while practicing dealing to myself and will be mostly using denominations in the $25, $100, and sometimes $500 range.

However, I also want to use these for home poker games so I'd still like $0.25, $1, and $5 chips

Any general recommendations? I've been particular to brpropoker but some of the custom sets out here look nice. If only I had the bankroll :(

Good point! Would ideally like to not spend more than $500 on these. I see Tina's as a solid option in my budget but was curious if there were any other recs out there.

If you’re willing to buy used chips, here’s an example of BrProPoker’s Nevada Jacks in a nice cash game breakdown:

Depending on how many $25s, $100s, and $500s you need for blackjack, you could then buy those chips from BrPro and be around your budget goal.

If you prefer other designs or new chips, then you could explore offerings from @justincarothers in his monthly group buys:

Welcome to PCF! Do you know how many chips you want for blackjack specifically? And for poker, any specific stakes/player count?

Fellow Blackjack player here. You can get a lot of advance Blackjack stuff like peakthroughs and Blackjack Index cards and even custom layouts here if you search well enough.

Tinas would be a great option given you want approximately 800 chips for $500. I bought a 1000 chip set to cover $.25/$.50 cash games and T25 Tournament. Cost was $610 from The Chip Spa on the CapDash mold at pokerchipper.com

Are you THE spartan?

Good question. Looking at chippitydoodah's post below, I think I could do with like 75% of that stack.

Any personal preferences on feel or anything? I'm trying to cheap out and not get samples :x
I have samples and don't think you can go wrong with any of them. If you like clay chips, Olympus is hard to beat for the price, although some might prefer Tinas and Majestics for a little more money. If you prefer ceramics, BR Pro feel great. Tinas and BR Pro have more designs or you can design your own.
