Hello All, I finely joined the forum, which probably means I will be making purchases I likely don't need. There have been many warning posts that I have ignored, c'est la vie. I am an avid low stakes tourney and cash game poker player that's been knocking around the game just under 30 years. Sure wish I would have paid more attention when I accompanied my father to his poker outings as I often did.
I have held an annual Namesake Cup tournament at my home for 20 years. I have a decent set of cheaper chips (NexGen Pro Clays - I believe) that I have been using for all those 20 years and now am considering an upgrade. I would also like to fill-out that existing tourney set with some lower denoms to be used for cash games (if possible). I bought CHEAP super diamonds to use for the cash game on my tourney night and have grown to dislike them very much (the black chips blend in with my felt too much, among all the other reasons). I'll put the diamonds up for sale, but I can't do that yet as I am a new member and can't even DM people yet. Highly DOUBTFUL anyone on the forum will want them
Regarding my existing tourney chips (see pic), I am trying to locate the same style of chip in white. I doubt they made brown, but would like to get some of those as well to use for blinds ($0.25 - $0.50). Any help or suggestions are appreciated.
Now for the other purchases: I think I would like to get in on a group buy for some Teddy KGB/Rounders chips. If anyone has information on how I would go about arranging that myself, or joining someone else's GB I would be grateful for the info.
Anyway, I am happy to have finally joined. The information I have gleaned from this forum over the years has been quite valuable. Looking forward to connecting and playing.
