Interest thread: Norse Viking Ceramic chips for limit games. (1 Viewer)

Hello people of the forum!

I've come across 'bout 5 thousand ceramic chips on 2-3 different colors.
I've been told the condition is brand new, but printed, so no customization is available.
The chips are:
Red ish, value 10 printed.
Green, value 25 printed.

I strongly believe I will be able to get them for less than $1/chip, don't know how low I can get them at though.
I guess the more chips we buy, the lower price/chip will be.

Simply because they are already printed there's not much options on customizing, but I belive we can get some great feeling chips for a low price.

So, the question is, anyone interested in this?

Lastly, please correct me if this is the wrong forum to post in.

Chip descriptions and pics.

Value: 10
Base color: Orange
Design: "Mjølnir" (Thor's Hammer), and norse rune words, said to mean drink, play, fight and win.

Value: 25
Base color: Green
Design: Wooden viking shield, and norse rune words, said to mean drink, play, fight and win.

The chip has some textured feel to it.
Manufacturer is said to be "Gameland" in China.
Quoting the creator of this design: "I've been sent a bunch of samples, and this product is pretty close to chipco"

Me myself have never held an chipco, so I dont know.

The rolling edge seem to be square enough for the chip to be standing on the edge.

Slightly thinner than the ASM and paulsons I've got.

When stacked at 80x, the ASM and Paulson chip is able to slide over to the ceramics.

They also seem slightly more stable than the ASM and paulsons. At least on this surface.

There might be some additional chips, though less than 500x / color available.

Not yet confirmed, but I think I can get 1000x for $400 included shipping to US/EU for $400 ($0.40 / chip in this scenario).

Sounds a bit expensive, too. Brand new custom ceramics tend to cost a bit less.

My ceramic limit set ran a bit more than $0.10 per chip. I paid a bit more than a dollar/chip for vintage Paulson chip to use as a limit game.

I emailed them a while back. Christian (or Kristian, I can’t remember) was very friendly, and sent me two complete sample sets, for 18 chips total. They were my first experience with ceramics. I like them. They feel nice, and look fantastic! I wish they offered that orange chip as a .25 chip.

Only downside I could tell is that there were several spinners out of the 18 chips I received. I’m not sure how that compares to other less expensive ceramics.

Are you saying they’re out of stock of everything except for the 10’s and 25’s?

I havent searched for spinners yet, so don't know much about that at this time.

Well, not completely out, but a little less than 100x of some, little more of others. About 400x of the 5k chip I think.
I may get excact count upon request.
