Inapinch's Journey to Southern Mississippi (2 Viewers)

I was able to snag a whole rack that’s from the Beau Rivage, but still on the hunt for a few more of IOC Biloxi, GN Biloxi, IP Biloxi, and Gold Strike Tunica. If I can get a few more of each, I’d like to do some weight comparisons of house molds. I typically don’t focus on Tunica, but man that Gold Strike is a piece of art!

here’s what I have on that front:

hey thanks again for the help @Terrys394 much appreciated

Dang those beaus look sharp. Was is pretty easy to get them from the cage or did you have to cull them?
@Terrys394 when were these picked up from the Beau? I’m unsure when they were released in the Casino, but chipguide has photos from 2020 — is that around the time these were scooped up?

I forgot to include what I have on the previous issue of Beau Rivage $1s. Haven’t weighed them yet, but they feel much heavier than the new blue $1s (still love both):

Not much to report in the last few weeks. Received a few more singles, but that’s about it. I also placed an order for a custom topper to go with the Bayou Caddy Jubilee limit set.

I’ve been considering traveling to see my Mississippi family for the Christmas holidays and maybe even doing a small tour of coastal casinos while I’m there. We’ll see…

Hot damn, now that's a sharp looking top man. Set looks great with it!
Always loved this inlay and the chips. Love that you made a classy topper to go with them. The subtle pattern inside the betting line is a really nice touch. Looking forward to game pron!

Can confirm the Beau Rivage has nothing but bike tires when I was there, but chips look and feel great. Love that clean inlay.
If they had nice chips, I’d definitely make the trip to harvest an entire set…. But, no-go. If they ever put in a new order, I’ll grab 2 sets. One for me & one for Blake :)

They have to reorder, soon. These are dirty piles of dog shit. Still better than plastic…
Man, I overbet several times due to chips being stuck together. Yes, I could've been more vigilant, but picking up 2 fives and getting 4 instead adds up over time!

Was lightly accused of angling once when I said I meant to bet 10 not 20; I then proceeded to lift 5 or 6 of them as one solid congealed unit lol.

Hey! If they ever do a reorder we might as well have a mini meet up because I’ll be flyin in the day they put them on the floor to get a set and a sample set lol

Got a new update in the works…. Not booked yet, but I’m planning on doing a full tour of Mississippi casinos in December. It’s been a dream of mine for few years and after losing my brother, I feel the need to start living life a little more fully.

I’d like to fly into Memphis and start with a few nights in Tunica. Then, head down to Jackson for family visit and do quick visits to Vicksburg & Natchez while I’m there. Last, but not least, finish things off with several days in Biloxi with a golf day squeezed in there somewhere.

Dates/itinerary tbd, but if you’re nearby in mid late December, lemme buy you a beer or a buy in. Should be a fun trip!

Just booked the first part of the trip: Tunica!

I’ll be driving from Denver to Tunica on the 17th, and spending all of Monday 18th exploring casinos. Then off to see family 19th - Xmas.

Casino’s on the agenda:
1st Jackpot
Horseshoe
Fitz
Sam’s Town
Hollywood

Welp, after one helluva drive, I was going to call it a night but then I heard all the bells and whistles at Horseshoe. Like a moth to the light….
in $200
out $175

I’ll note that this spot was a blast. The players and the staff seemed incredible tonight. 10/10 experience
