Something just doesn't add up.. It seems HIGHLY unlikely you have been wondering about custom CPC sets with $4000 budgets with heavy inspiration from Tiger Palace WITHOUT ever seeing the Casa Mangos Sets. It is absolutely one of the most famous custom sets on PCF. So I think you absolutely knew that the CASA MANGOS was infact @Eloe2000's and you straight up ripped another dude's design. This is extremely bad taste and I tried to sympathize with you, but this is just wrong. You can't say you are a graphic designer or creative for that matter, if you basically don't give a flying sausage for creative rights and other artists work.

Do none of you guys remember what you were like when you were 18 years old? C'mon, we were all stupid as fuck. The kid saw a design somewhere. I think he said before he was even a PCF member. That brought him here. He's made some posts about custom sets. He relabeled some Majestic (I think) china clays. Then mocked up the Mangos and ordered them from China. I highly doubt he spent any time here on threads where we discuss that honoring the designs of others is important. If so, then he wouldn't have very proudly made post #1 with pics in this thread. I can even believe that he never ran into the actual Mango threads showcasing the original CPC chips.

He's a kid who fucked up, and he has fully owned it. If @Hammer2171 can become a respected member of this community, then I think young @templetonjohn72 can also. The conspiracy theories flying around here are idiotic.

He tagged me because I like to rant about stolen IP on chips. But I also like to rant about a double standard at PCF, which you got to see for yourself. Lots of PCFers (maybe even a majority) think that copying another PCFers chip design is an unforgivable offense. I wouldn’t argue with that. But many of those same people are fine with copying a casino’s chips, or just about any other IP in the world.

I actually agree that it's just a young new member that made a mistake. It totally fits 99% of the new members we see around here in regards to coming in hot and wanting something NOW. It takes alot of hours to understand alot of what's going on here and most sane people will not commit that time unless they are somewhat obsessed.... like us. To me it's not worth all of the energy put into this thread although I do feel for Eloe2000 as I am sure i wouldn't be too excited about what happened if I was him.

I think Jabinator's post was interesting from the perspective of it felt like what a good attorney can do with portraying 'the facts'. Not that I necessarily agree...but interesting. I wouldn't call it ridiculous though, just a narrow line of thinking.

For the record, I do agree with you on this, however I would like to see some effort put into his apology above a passing 'I'm sorry'.

Although he did do enough research to seek out contacting Tina on his own, avoiding the easy button option of Justin, which would have prevented or at least educated him on it.
