Hello, so Im starting a poker tour, I think I have an all right breakdown but need help with structure

Im going to have three tiers
Low budget - 50-200$ buy ins 40-100 people
Middle - 300-700$ buy ins 80-160 people
High Roller 1000-2000$ buy ins 30-60 people

The current set idea
2000 x 25
2000 x 100
1500 x 500
2500 x 1.000
1000 x 5.000
750 x 25.000
250 x 100.000

Low Tournaments are going to be hosted a full saturday and final 18 on sunday.
lets say 20.000 starting chips

Middle is 2.5 days long
30.000 starting chips

High roller is 2.5 days long.
100.000 starting chips
250.000 starting chips.
Any structure specialists out there that want to go for it ?

I won't take a shot at the structure, as there are more knowledgeable experts on the forum, but I would warn you about using chips in multiple tiers unless you have strict controls over them.

For example: how would you stop someone from entering a lower tier tournament and pocketing some $1000 (or higher) chips, only to introduce them into play in a higher-level event?

You would never know you were missing chips until after the tourney ended, and you might not know when they went missing (and who took them).

It wouldn't matter if they were held on the same day -- once the chip(s) leave the table, you have no control over when/how its introduced back into play... And unless you're lucky enough to catch the cheater in the act, you'll never be able to identify the person responsible.

That's one of the main reasons people on this forum always recommend using different chips for cash games and tournaments -- it stops people from taking chips from one table and using them at another.

Different chips for the High Rollers is recommended, and then you could split the other denoms between low/mid tiers (low denoms for low tiers, higher denoms for mid tiers).

The higher value chips are different per tier
so three types of

That should minimize the risk right ?
