How to fly with chips (2 Viewers)

Leaving Vegas they swabbed every chip before I’m like “dude” and they’re all “ok it’s enough.” But they did say, as others showed in this thread, clay chips are black on xray so do expect to get stopped non-stop. If in carry on they can’t see through them.

Also want to mention the Apache 1800 fits 3 Justin racks very well and given its small size is fairly lightweight. Not perfect for op who wants to support two tables but a nice little case for air travel.

I have put larger Apache’s inside wheeled luggage and it’s not terrible to but expect to have to dismantle it at airport. For driving to and checking into a hotel it was fine though.

My experience, flying out of Vegas specifically, while hauling chips has been the opposite & I've harvested ALOT of chips alot of trips.

Everytime they bring me to the secondary screening, look at xray and ask me "poker chips?". I reply yep, and they take a quick peek. I've even had them not even open the bag. Sometimes a quick conversation about others bringing a hoard through.

Having hauled loads of chips to and from meetups all over the country, Vegas is by far the easiest to haul out of.
