How’d they turn out? Both as far as taste and how’d the cook on the roller?
They taste really good, like if you used the batter of an onion ring but had a lot of dill and tang. In the beginning most of them were rolling, and after a while most weren't rolling so I hand turned them every 5-10 min. They were cooked through when I ate them I dont recall how long it took maybe 25min or so.

If I had a hot dog roller, then I would probably want a nacho station, too.

About to make a hot dog run for WaB II. 3 hot dogs per day per person sound about right?

Maiden voyage was last night. Fired it up to do a few hotdogs to go with the chili for supper and it was a HUGE hit!

250 didn’t seem to be doing much after almost 20 minutes so I cranked it up to 350 to get them ready for supper. I’ll need to play with that a little more before game night.

It's funny how different the unit settings can be. I usually set mine to just under 200 and in 10-15 minutes they're done, I have to turn it down to 150 at that point or else they start turning into jerky. @350 they'd probably catch on fire lol.

The instapot, like a crockpot, is a lame-ass cooking tool, in that it's use requires zero technique. But my vision for it was cranking out meals from frozen meats on school nights - utilitarian.
I will say that you can make a halfway decent pulled pork with an instapot, if you don't have the time or equipment to do it right.
I like your bad attitude. I feel like you fully understand why a stick burner is better than an electric smoker.
