So there has been plenty of discussion about these 3 $100 chips so I won't go into any of that here. However, here are a few pics of all three chips together.

I am headed to Vegas for a short work trip this weekend will try to get pics of all three chips from inside the Horseshoe Poker Room and Blackjack Pit.

Thank you to @AWenger (your chip will be in the mail soon) and to @greenchip for your help finding the chips to compare side by side.

so what are the official colors (you have a paulson color set ?)

Think there will be backlash? Like maybe it will get MUCH more difficult for vendors (i.e. Jim) to get chips in the future.

This is GPI's fault for allowing such similar base/spot colors and not having it flagged in their system. Kinda like when the NAGB made the Rio WSOP secondary tributes that were VERY close to originals. There should have been an internal flag there as well. The Nevada Gaming people don't get to tell Missouri or Illinois what to do with their casino chips, but Horseshoe can certainly blame GPI if they have a problem.

That being said, I'm sure there are RFID and UV marking considerations here, considering that it is a high denom chip. You'd be an idiot to try to pass a counterfeit.

If anyone wanted to get my opinion on these chips, I talked about it in this video:

Serves them right for eliminating more complex spot patterns. At least reserve them for higher denom chips. The lower the complexity the lower the number of combinations of different patterns available

This is why GPI has a huge colour pallette. It allows them the technicality of saying they will never duplicate chips between casino customers when in reality it could be a 97% match.

I picked up some Jumers $100s for a project and decided to match against my Paulson color sample set and get us the real colors for that one at least.

Grey and Butterscotch.

I don't have nor have access to the Terribles or the Horseshoe otherwise I'd do the same for those.
