There's some tl;dr here, so feel free to skip it and move straight down to the pr0n.

I haven't seen any other photos of these sets out there yet, so maybe I'm the only sucker to buy one!

I started putting together sets of both primary and secondary cash chips to make a Horseshoe Cleveland tournament set, and realized how much money it'd actually cost me to make a T10k starting set that was built for more than 1 table. I don't think I've ever played/hosted a home game of more than 2 tables, but I wanted to have extras and be able to expand if needed.

My friends and I played at this casino from the day it opened. We primarily played 1/2 PLO and tournaments. Aside from occasional degenerate gambling in the pits, I very rarely had a cash chip over $100 in my possession. The cash chips are definitely great, and obviously normal/full/over sized chips with edge spot patterns, etc. but ultimately I felt like this set meant a little bit more to me given how often I played with these chips prior to moving away from the Cleveland area.

The 36mm does take a little getting used to, but they are commonly used for tournament sets in Horseshoe casinos. The chips are overall in pretty good condition with most cross-hatching still on the face of the chips, and almost all of them stand on edge. Ok this is an assumption, I didn't try to stand every chip on edge, but the edges are sharp.

Right now 66.7 racks are an okay fit in terms of thickness, but the racks obviously wobble a bit when stacked because of the diameter of the chips being smaller than intended. They are being stored flat in my cabinet for the time being, but I'm exploring a few other options which I will update once all of the samples arrive.

I'll be quiet now and present my hastily taken iPhone photos. The breakdown for the set can be found below the photos. Enjoy!

250 - T25 (+5 extras)
250 - T100 (+5 extras)
80 - T500 (+5 extras)
300 - T1000 (+10 extras)
40 - T5000 (+5 extras)
80 - 100 Buy-in

The total set is 1000 chips + 30 extras as replacements for lost/stolen/broken chips. I'm still not quite sure what I am doing with the buy-in chips either (I sent a barrel out before I decided to buy this set, but there's a good chance I do not need all 80 unless I want a T5 chip.) I may either make these 25k chips or bounty chips, and look to add a few more T500 and/or T5000 chips to round it back up to 1000 chips even as I won't need 80 bounty or 25k chips.

Congrats on the set! I like it!

Thank you! I'm entirely blaming this on you by the way... after seeing your thread with Horseshoe Cleveland WSOP tournament chips I knew that this is the direction I wanted to go.

Well I guess I can blame you for a trade I made tonight. Please keep in mind when I mean "blame" I mean it in a good way!!!

Also love the buy in chips. I actually wish I would have taken advantage of the great price Jim had on those. Looking back I should have purchased 2-3 barrels

Same here, definitely in a good way!

I'll keep you in mind if I decide to get rid of any. I can't imagine needing all 80, but I don't want to get rid of them now and regret it later.

I understand. I would probably only get 20 - 30 in play but full barrels are a must!

Have you an opinion on these chips 36mm in game(set, play)?
Have photos to see the difference with one 39mm?
Thank you

I've played with them in a casino before so they weren't a big transition for me.

My game usually plays tournament first then cash game, so I actually don't mind having smaller chips for the tournament then bringing out standard/larger and more colorful chips for the cash game/real money game.

I'm not near my chips right now so this is the only photo I have, but here is a 36mm on top of a 39mm (Horseshoe Cleveland $100 primary) on top of a 43mm (Horseshoe Cleveland $1000 primary.) They are aligned on the edges on the back corner, I'll take one later with the smaller chips in the center with a top view.

Get a scanner and get your name in the museum of gaming history! (you can use your abacus to help count the dollars you will need for a printer with a scanner. Use your sun dial to help estimate the time it will take to save the money, lol)

Seriously though, NICE SET BRO! I almost pulled the trigger myself, but I love my wife being a part of my life more. She is still pissed from the presale (i don't blame her).

Thanks! I laid out the cost of the same chip denominations with the cash chips vs the cost of this tournament set to my wife which made it look WAY more reasonable

I think my mother in law has a scanner, and if so I'll try to get some scans of them.

For a while I thought I had a complete set, but turns out I'm missing some blue chips that another member has  :whistling:

I like these much more than I thought I would. Nice set.

I recently played with the 36mm's at Foxwoods. If I hadn't known about the Horseshoe sale (and gotten a sample), I don't think I would have noticed the size difference at the table,

Je vous remercie.
i ai un échantillon aujourd'hui wsop 36mm.
j'aime, son possible avec le jeu;)

Have you had them in play yet!

I played the WSOP 36mm in a few heads up sessions but I have not had a full blown tourney with them yet.

Not yet

My friend hosts, I don't have a suitable table or enough space right now for a game. I'm just the official equipment supplier

I'm kind of at the mercy of when he can get a game and the people together. I'll make sure to take some photos once they get into play!

Should be cleaning mine over the next few days. Will be in play 1/20.

Just gotta show me up don't you :p

Looking forward to some more photos of these! My set is getting lonely in this thread.

I know what you mean! Mine are sitting in the chip cabinet yearning to be put in play. I hopefully will be getting a regular game going this coming year with a group of my regular cash game player. I enjoy playing a tourney every now and then but I primarily play cash. It is even odd owning a tourney set but hey, a man has got to do and own what man has got to do and own.

They will be used at the All in at the Alamo for sure!

Here's a bunch @K ALL IN 9 - A few are in different light just for perspective. Starting stacks range from T10k-T20k and include a few options with more/less of certain chips.

Thanks for taking quick pictures. I really wish the hundos were at least gray. And it's not like you could even substitute them for another Paulson with custom labels to match because of the smaller size
