Good luck with search. Interesting, your linked thread has different 25’s than what goes with the rest of the set. Horseshoe Cincinnati had 2 different versions of the 36mm (3 if you count the WSOP 36mm)

@Ben8257 36mm set with your 25’s.. There are not a lot of those chips

And the other version minus the upper denoms.

I am specifically looking for the olive drab 25s. I bought this set (minus snappers).

I want option to give 12 fracs in starting stack when playing 10 handed.

I do not love the fact the frac is green but as it is a different shade of green and different size it is distinguishable from the $25. It was relabeled so it does not really work with any other set.

Come to think of it...if someone has this tourney set and really needs a rack of 25s and does not mind the relabel, I guess I would be open to a trade for a different colored 36mm.

Wondering if I'd be outed.

My question is will you been keeping this set forever or planning to replace down the road? The cinci's are keepers for me, I don't know if Ben's breakdown would work with 380 vs the current 400 pictured above, i might be able to help you with a barrel though i dont want to see the set listed in the next while having broken a barrel off of my set. Let me know and what you are offering, keep in mind I am in Canada. A US member may have a barrel or rack available also.

Haha….as far as I know, only you and Ben even have sets. I thought you bought them all up. I was surprised to see a rack of 25’s floating around.

I did not know these were so rare.

@philhut This is probably not my forever set, although I am not flipping it. Sounds like you and your Clevelands have a real bond and I don't want to come between the two of you:). An extra barrel is a "nice to have" in the event I host a 9 or 10 person cash table and I want to give everyone a dozen starting fracs. I can absolutely give them 8 fracs and then an extra 1.

If someone out there is secretly holding a barrel of these and wants to sell to me, great, but I don't expect anyone to sacrifice breaking up a completed set.

@philhut and @Ben8257 - For reals, if these really are that rare and either of you need another rack of these for your tournament sets, I am open to reversing this exchange and either doing a trade for a different 36mm frac candidate or selling them to you and I will use the cash to buy something else. Just remember that they are relabeled but I don't think they would confuse tournament play at all. Take a look at the label at this link:

Definately not a set you see listed often. I bought 1 set from Apache originally and added on after sniping a set in the background of a pic a member posted. the 500 and 1000 value are the hardest to find of the small horse shoe set (not sure about the big horse shoe version). i think many of the 500+ value chips were relabeled into seating chips etc and have been likely lost to circulation.

A few racks of 25s and 100s are likely kicking around. The 25's make nice options as quarters as well

It's been a while... I believe I bought 3 or 4 of the original (9 or 10 sets may have been 11) from members that got them in the sale just so I could get enough of the higher denoms (everyone wanted the peach to turn into fracs for other sets, so the T1Ks were literally impossible to find excapt in the sets). I sold off several racks (4 green and 2 brown I believe) of the greens and brown T100s. They are definitely out there (absolutely zero recollection of whom purchased those racks). But I will say this particular color combo was the smallest quantity of any of the 36mm sets that I can remember (so yes I would say "rare" in terms of typical casino quantities).

I have no intentions of breaking any racks, I kept what I wanted and do not plan to sell. In general 36mm fly under the radar and many people laugh at them, but when you consider the fact that what maybe 10 casinos ever produced the 36s compared to millions of 39, 43 and even 48mm chips. I hope that folks that do have the 36s appreciate their rarity and don't murder the very limited piece of "casino used history" that they own. Sure they make a great frac in the mindset of a smaller chip for the fractional, but also you have the opportunity to offer your players an experience they are not likely to find in ANY other games (obviously that is directed at the folks with sets and not single racks).

Have you considered reaching out to Jim @ the chip room... sometimes he has random leftovers laying around. I know for a fact he doesn't have any high denoms... but it is possible when he was building those sets that maybe some odd chips didn't make even breakdowns. Worth asking atleast, I highly doubt those with pre-made sets are going to be willing to break off a barrel and leave the set @ 380 chips... anything is possible, but not very likely.

Best of Luck with the hunt!

Great point of the scarcity of these making them rarer but oddly not more valuable in this current market. Folks really seem enamored with bigger chips (see the push for 43mm). Maybe I just have small hands, but I prefer smaller chips both in the hand and saving felt space on a crowded table.

Bump.

Still looking for a barrel of HS Cincinnati tournament 25s. The Paulson color is "moss green" I believe.

If anyone has a barrel of 36mm moss green Paulsons (any label) I am interested.

I am open to trading or selling these to someone with a HS Cincinnati tourney set who wants to reunite them with their family.
