Should've taken a pic of how absolutely disgusting the magic erasers ended up being but I'll leave that to imagination. Definitely worse than you'd think from the first pic.

Do we yet have a way to clean chips of all HJ without manually scrubbing each chip?
Simple green, dawn, ultra sonic with fake tsp, oxy clean. They all semi to work about same for me which is “very well”. But for that S tier clean I still need to manually pickup and clean every chip. Is there a better way?

I feel like I’ve chatted with so many about the topic, but here is a thread with amazing results…
I use a cheap salad spinner which I fill with 9 cups of warm water and two tablespoons of Lundmark “faux” TSP.
I agitate 4-6 barrels of Paulsons at a time, for about two minutes using the pull string, pausing halfway through to mix the chips up with a wood spoon or the like in case of any sticking together.
While not as thorough as an electric cleaner, I find this is more gentle and gets the chips plenty clean.
After rinsing clean, I’ll look for any chips which need individual attention as I’m laying them out to dry. There are rarely more than a handful of these.

Sorry for the lousy photo of my computer screen. This was from a video ad on Facebook. The ad begins with a closeup of somebody flipping a couple of $25 chips in their hand. Don’t you think somebody would have thought to clean the chips?
I think most people don't even know that you can clean the chips. But yeah, that looks gross. Especially for an advertisement for the casino.

If someone goes to the casino because of the ad and saw clean chips, they'd wonder if they were counterfeit or that they used prop chips for the commercial.

No. but that's an interesting thing, right? Most commercials use prop chips. I'd guess the percentage of ads that use actual casino chips is like 10%. So on the rare occasion where they use actual casino chips, wouldn't you think the casino would provide clean, mint chips? Or in the alternative, somebody involved in the production would mention that the filthy chips are disgusting, and unlikely to raw people into the casino?
But this makes too much sense! How could anyone ever do it?

Especially poker room managers. I’ve inquired multiple times at various rooms when they are going to clean their (filthy) chips... The answer is basically never
I swear some people keep their chips buried in the backyard like these...
But even these can be brought back to life...
These took more work than any others I have ever cleaned. Long time in the ultrasonic cleaner followed by a good hand scrub then using a seam ripper tool to dig dirt out of the crevices. But at least they are now useable even if far from perfect.
