Planning an interesting night tomorrow night. A group of us go to Deadwood SD every spring to play at the casinos out there. At Saloon #10 they play a $2-10 spread limit Dealers Choice(10 game) that we are going to try. We usually play .25/.25 NLH/PLO $10-$30 buy-in, which can still get wild at times but I was thinking of trying this at a $.50-2.50 spread limit to be proportionately the same. I'm not sure what to expect if its going to play small or no one will fold and it'll be bingo anyways.

Excitement of the night I get a new player I’ve played with at the casino before, after he gets a few coolerish hands in a short time he leaves and says next time I won’t be so friendly, I say good I like people that stir it up a bit, he says that’s not what I mean... and leaves.

What does he mean?

Dealers Choice mixed games went over well actually. Hoping for some player feedback but they don’t give opinion when I give them choices. I liked doing spread limit but personally would prefer playing fixed limit. Going to try to give them an option of

Big bet(.25/.25 or .25/.50)
Spread limit(.50-2.50 or .50-5)
Fixed limit(I’m guessing 1/2 would be small but decent.

I’ve done buy ins of $10-$40 min/max. Most are $20-$30 so that’s where my players are at.

Any opinions or experience with similar spread limit or fixed limit structures?

1/2 fixed would be my choice for 20-40 buy ins. And play it with quarters. Get more of those awesome quarters.

We’ve been playing blinds on stud(odd I know but I’ve played it in a live dealers choice game in Deadwood and it works since every hand can be different)

But that structure sounds great.
