separate budget for the chips :) - not going to crack that open just yet
Alright

Chairs are crucial to a good poker room. No armrests and wheels are a plus!
Side tables are also beneficial in keeping your table clean.
Cup holders in the rail are better than on the table.

Lighting in the table and USB ports are cool, but good lighting over the poker table is more important.

If your are always having a dealer then a dealer cut-out is a great thing and also dealer chair so the dealer sits a little bit higher.

Id like to know more about your friends and how much they play. From personal experience $1/3 and $2/5 will be a short lived game. People will talk a big game but after the first few nights gradually people will start dropping out and all the sudden have things “come up”.

I told this story many times, but back when limit holdem was the norm, I had a weekly game for a few years that often had two tables going. Then when AC (where most of us often played) spread the first NL games they all decided that was WAY better and we needed to switch to $1/2 NL. Within six months the game dwindled to almost nothing…an occasional game every few months
