For a first time, my recommendations:


the blinds are 25/50 (CRC)
unlimited buy-in
minimun buy in 1'000 CRC
max buy in 5'000 CRC

for 8 players you'll need

Starting stack per player

12x 25
12x 100
7x 500

Spares for rebuy
30x 100
100x 500
20x 1000


therefore a set of 400 chips is enough.
