Hello needs some advice..
I am hosting a 6-8 man home cash game in about a week. Buy in will be $50.
I currently have a set of set of 500 chips split into 6 denominations. Im assigning value to each chip..

Would it be dumb to play .10/ .25 blinds???
I would like to play with 200 bb of possible. To allow for a more typical casino game feel.

How would you break this down with my set??
Recommendations 🙏 🙏

Chip set i have is attached.
Thanks!

Unusual denoms there... I'd probably play 0.10/0.20 blinds and just not use the 5s. Depending on how your games go you could be light on rebuys since your bank is a little under $700, if 8 people you'd have ~5 rebuys available. If you're predicting multiple rebuys, another option would be doing a conversion where money isn't exactly equal to chip denoms but I don't have the wherewithall to calculate that presently xD

I would suggest .25/.25 or .10/.20, probably the latter. You can play with the values in cents, maybe with a 15/5/11/5/1 breakdown of .10/.50/1/5/10 (10/50/100/500/1000).

10c/20c with those denominations.

10 x 10 = $1 - played as 10c chips
10 x 50 = $5 - played as 50c chips
9 x 100 = $9 - played as $1 chips
7 x 500 = $35 - played as $5 chips

For 8 players / total chips
10 = 80
50 = 80
100 = 72
500 = 56

The 1k chips can be used as $10 chips for rebuys if needed.
