Using the Chipmatic Studio tool (thank you, @QuietMaple) to generate some ideas about a non-denominated limit set, I wanted opinions and ideas about what works well for the betting chip and value chip:

For instance, would simpler spot patterns and fewer colors work better?

Or would trying something more like CPC Level 10 or 11 spot patterns take more advantage of custom options?

I’ll probably work with a designer for an inlay down the line (Stacked was the most appealing template) but wanted some other ideas to consider beforehand.

Coming from a biased/somewhat minimalist, less is more. I like a simple spot pattern for the workhorse, and a little more complex for the value.

I that your simple design has two distinctly different spot patterns vs. the complex using 1/8 on both. Still I think the 1/4 pie and 1/8 patterns are too different, and I would prefer pattens that are somewhat similar and provide better flow between the different chips.

What’s your budget? The more spots the higher the level, set your budget then start
To determine the spot patterns and cost.
If money is no object , then sky is the limit.
I don’t go over level 5, that gives
Me a lot of choices.
