Choose my $1s and $25s!

No additional votes since last night. Of course: it's a tie as of right now! LOL!!! I'll leave the poll open until tomorrow and see if anything changes. So roughly 3 to 1 in favor of the Fortune Casino $1s. I don't think that's likely to change much :p

Tie breaker!

Since my Aquarius vote is losing, if I had to switch to Fortune, I would go Fortune and Terrible’s. The Horseshoe’s brown spot is too dark for the $5s.

Once again: THANK YOU ALL for your help! I'll close down the poll later tonight.

The Fortunes will be my set's $1 chip! Awesome!

The $25s are still a toss up although the Terrible's are a hair in front. The difference is not wide enough for me to make the call yet.

I wonder what would the $25 choice of those who voted for the Aquarius be assuming the Fortunes are indeed the chosen $1.

I'll also create a WTS thread for those Aquarius. Beautiful chips and a great candidate for a frac in sets with White $1s.

Thanks again, guys!

Fortune 1's for sure. I like the Cinci $25's the best but might even look for a $25 with a splash of a bright color.

Yeah, David. I agree with possibly finding another green chip. I have been looking around but haven't found any that would fit the bill. Yet! ;)

Yea just spitballing. I like the Terrible’s. Back to brainstorming.

I like Mark Twain $25s and think they’ll work even with the pink spot.

GV secondary $25?

I don't have any GV, never had any. The inlay is not in my wheelhouse so to speak. Since they would be relabeled, they could work also. Do those have the silver flakes/specs in them? That could be a deal breaker since the other chips are very smooth...

Only the hundos and up had the flakes in them. Wish I still had some I could send you to try them out

And the thought is appreciate regardless, man!!

I'm not sure why I have the impression the Sec $25s were a bit muddy... Maybe I've seen some not so great pics... Don't know...

I loved them personally. Even thought the $1 was a bit plain, I really liked the look of the whole set. If I didn’t have too many other, pricey projects I would’ve kept them. C’est la vie!

I’ve mocked up a similar combo to that $25 so many times in the chip tool lol

Horseshoe Cleveland $25 secondary? Maybe wrong spot progression there.

Native Lights $25 primary?

Using those already in my Cleveland Tourney set. Btw, those Argosy $5s were replaced by Mint Cincy $5, so I don't have to replace any inlays.

As long as $100s won't be introduced, I'm thinking the darker Fortune $1s with the Terribles $25s. Great contrast especially if you do use those white chips for your fracs. If you might be adding a black or dark $100 at a later date than it has to be the Aquarius $1s and I'd pair that with the Cinci $25s.

But I'm new here so what do I know.

I already have a chip picked for the hundos. It's the Bremerton Lane $100s. I just didn't get a chance to take some pics with it yet.

The possible fracs are Gray, btw, not White.

I know $100s don't get in play with $1s too often, but I'd be worried about dirty stacks if you go the Fortune $1s route now. But if you aren't too worried I'd still go with option 2. That'll be a great lineup.

Yeah, not too often I'll have a bunch of both on the table however, your point is still very valid. I'll have to check them out together. Specially since those black chips have blue spots.

@RocAFella1 :

Maybe I'm moving a bit past the no-no, LOL!! Still kinda iffy I think, no? Three of the colors are within the same family between those two chips (and one the exact same color, White). Doable? I still think not...

Late to the party, but.... I like the following for most disparity, contrast, and coloring in pots:
  1. Option 3
  2. Option 1
  3. That's it.
Not a fan of the dark $1s, but if they had to be used, I'd go with the lighter of the two $25s (Option 2). But it's my third choice at best.

And while I really like both chips, I don't think they play very nicely together. It's like two male peacocks screaming over each other to get the hen's attention....

Yeah, I don't disagree with you there, Dave. Although the $25s in person seem to be darker than the picture. It's Munzell Green after all. I'll see of one of the guys can bring me a barrel of those to see them in person.

Honestly, I'm not super happy with either of the two green chips I have as options, neither am I happy with the above option.

Well, fwiw, I'm a big fan of the Grand Vic $25 secondaries..... just not the inlay, which you plan on replacing anyway.
