Hey all.

I'm in my mid 30s. I use to play full time before Covid. Made a career switch which landed me in South Carolina.

No casinos within a 4 hour drive and after being here for a few years I haven't come across any regular home games.

So I'm starting out my journey of getting my own little setup which is quickly turning into thousands of dollars lol.

Joining up to get involved in the community after lurking on here and 2plus2 for over a decade. I've appreciated all the advice and resources over the years.

Nice.

I'm near Shaw AFB, east of Columbia. Been here a little over 3 years now, from the Boston area originally.

I use to live in Myrtle Beach and work on the Suncruz casino boat. They had a poker room back in 2010.Theboat closed in 2014.
The BigM boat operates today out of Little River,SC.I don't know if they offer poker.

They don't, just 3 card poker vs the house

It's a shame South Carolina won't allow casinos to be built. Especially in Myrtle Beach,I would move back there if they did.

I too live hours from the nearest casino. You’re welcome to play in our local California club we started online. We have a free poker tournament every Sunday. She usually pays several hundred dollars for the first place player and ya it’s a FREE 1 entry tournament with rebuys. DM me for more info and welcome to PCF!!!

He stated he used to be a FULL TIME PLAYER. I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "a lot," as this is only our second time doing this tourney since it started last Sunday less than 6 days ago. I have brought it up a few times, as I have some friends here and always welcome more.

As a member of SEVERAL poker clubs here on PCF including the LX degenerates which runs an awesome online club in the midwest on the same platform, I prob have also mentioned that in the past. Maybe that’s your reference? Yes, I support it. It’s awesome, if you live rural, I would suggest you start one or support it too! Go all
In without the drive!!! Ps. If you actually check the flyer, you'll see there’s no specific rate mentioned; all the money collected goes towards the tournament! I appreciate your inquiry, but just to clarify, rakes are illegal in the US, and I think it's a bit inappropriate to ask about it publicly. Just to reiterate and maybe a different form of font will help, here is last weeks version. Hope it’s not “a lot” for you. =)

You're right, nothing about rake on the flyer and didnt expect it for this tournament, and you havent mentioned this tournament but youve mentioned the platform quite a few times, was just wondering whos making money.

The winner of the tournament.

Ps. It is truly a great software available to the public. Thank you for supporting your local underground poker scene.

Checked out the site, seems pretty cool. Small group of people who all seem to be poker friends.

Played in the freeroll and cashed for $40, plus a little $25 welcome bonus. Seems like a nice group of guys.

Haven't deposited or withdrew any money so can't speak to any of that but I had a fun couple of hours playing.
