Been around for about a decade, but I’ve rarely joined in any discussions. Every now and then, I’d pop in to see what the current state of the hobby is. Nice to know that not a whole lot has changed. There’s a great community here!

I settled into Humboldt County in California for the last two years and I have no plans to leave. I’d like to get back into playing/hosting card games again after a long hiatus. Any chippers or poker players in the area? How about TTRPGers?

I have a couple of projects I’d like to tackle. I want to round out a collection of Desert Palms (cc) that I have, and possibly take on re-labeling them all.

I have an edit to make: Upon further research, I don't think that my Desert Palms are China Clay, but instead the injection plastic. Just posting for clarity in case I ever hear that someone upgraded to "the real stuff" and wants to offload some of the plastic ones. Honestly, I think they're great.
