I’m new to PCF AND new to poker. I always wanted to learn. I got into it from night at the inventory and rdr2.

A bit about me: I spent a decade of my life in Austin and now live in SF (though I miss Texas). I used to be a very accomplished chess player and I’m hoping some of those skills will transfer over to poker!

pattern recognition and emotional discipline skills are similar and will come with repetition. but chess is a game of perfect information, and poker absolutely isn’t - that’s probably the biggest gap.
