Sitting Out
Hello from California.
I'm new and a few posts late but finally got around to saying hello here. I found PCF after doing a google looking for some new chips, and here I am. I've been soaking up lots of good info on the site, so thanks to everyone for all the knowledge, especially the few who helped answer some questions. It's really nice how I see members helping each other out so much.
I've learned I'm a odd ball, in that my long-time small group plays micro stakes 7-card stud, spread-limit mostly, whereas seems 95% of PCFers are talking about and playing holdem variations. After researching here, I joined a group buy for the Tangier's Tina chips. Right now, my chips are "6-stripe" hot-stamped nice quality (plastic?) chips with denoms and my name. They were a surprise Christmas gift from my wife years ago before the poker boom, when we were still dating/not married, and she doesn't even play. That was a sign she was a keeper, and she is ;-).
