Has Anybody Ever Sold A CPC Set Before It Was Even Pressed? (1 Viewer)

Just curious if it has ever been done. I’m at the point where I know for a certainty I’ll be moving the Silver Tongued Devil set. Quite possibly before they’re even delivered.

I've sold never used CPC sets and used only once CPC sets. Haven't sold a set I haven't received yet (never say never).

@WedgeRock I've only had two custom sets made. The Bourbons and the Sunsets. I still own both of them. Honestly, the Bourbons aren't untouchable.

I have sold other peoples custom sets that I have purchased, but never my own design.

The question wasn't if you ever sold a custom set. It was if you ever sold it before it was delivered/pressed. The answer is no. Now if we want to get more generalized, then yes, I have sold sets before I received them in the mail. Hybrid Boardwalks are a perfect example of that.

This is getting me too. Instead of paying $2000 for it, can't he just refund you $1800, (or something like that) and not create it?

Nope. Because the clay is laid out and punched long before pressing. My chips are made but not pressed.
