I did go on a 48h no sleep regime before I boarded…and went camping with the kids the weekend prior to get accustomed to the good old air matras.

I can say I’m ready to party until im boarding again for the last time this trip

I have a feeling I will always be at the kids table like @Poker Zombie , some of us just enjoy playing them game and not playing pay checks. Also I am 100% happy if I can break even for meet ups, I a self proclaimed terrible poker player. Lol

Turned 40 at the Lincoln Speedway Last night. Went to a friend's barn and hung out with our farmer buddy with the cows till 3 am.

Found out yesterday they were running a holiday weekend race at Selinsgrove up closer to State College PA, tons of rain in the area and a 2 1/2 hour ride but we made the trip up the absolutely breathtaking Susquehanna Valley

Lucky you, and Happy Birthday! I miss old dirt track racing. When I lived in the Detroit area I could get to the track in minutes (Flat Rock Speedway) but now that I live in the rural south, it's just too long a drive to make it worthwhile.

Had a fantastic birthday weekend other than the "back 40" has been destroyed by storms this year... we were well overdue on stick clean up and grass cutting... wore our selves out yesterday and still tons to go... but really looking forward to @MegaTon44 meet up in just a couple days! Best B day week in a long time. 40 is just a number, God willing still many amazing years infront of me and they will be with all of you guys!

I found it quite Ironic being a huge parrot head... my favorite Buffet song is "a pirate looks at 40" well Friday morning headed to work for the last time "looking at 40" my odometer on the ole truck rolled over on 200k

Saturdays race was a memorial race for an 11 year old racing fan that lost his life this year in a tragic fire. The neighbors were setting off fire works and one went wrong and flew into his house and they could not get the boy out in time. Sundays race was a memorial for a driver who lost his life in a race car far too early... just makes you think more and more how precious life is. They took years building this Turino Tribute car in his Honor and she was an absolute Bute!
