I've always wanted to do this. I finally bought a flag big enough. I originally bought it for the 4th but then realized tomorrow is flag day. So I went out and bought some carabiners and grabbed a chain and hoisted ole glory. My wife grabbed some spot lights we use for Halloween and we zip tied them to the bottom of the mast. Anyway I'm very happy and wanted to share. The flag is 8'x12' and honestly im thinking of going up a size for the 4th. What do you all think? Its a little over 40' fully extended. Post up your flags and or flag poles.
