Hello to all of you...

I'm new here since yesterday.
Checked out this forum and chiptalk a few times already and became more and more addicted to poker chips.
I own a few sets now and I'm seriously thinking of buying me a nice set of Paulsons (o dear ... what wil my wife say now? ... already told her my last set was my last I would buy...?)

Anyway ... I'm from Belgium and my name is Angelo ;)

Are there more people who collect sets of 500 to 4000 chips or am I alone?

My wife complains that I can't use all of the sets, but then I tell her that we don't eat the same thing every day as well.
lol, no sir you are not alone. welcome to the forum!

Most of my sets are between 1000 and 1600 chips, with very few under 600. Only a couple larger than 2500.

Welcome!!

I love your food analogy! I will have to use it sometime. Also, I suspect you are not alone in you addiction:whistle: :whistling: But you definitely came to the right place for therapy:D

From left to right:

- My first set: James Bond clay-composite with metal inlay (14gr a piece) lot's of nice memories (I was happy with them at the time)
- My second set: EPT Ceramics - nice colours (that's about it) - crappy edges - way too slick (you can't move stacks of 20 without chips falling off
- My third set: The Ascona Hybrid: Nice set, nice colours (I think), miss the feeling of clay - Just can't seem to bond with them
- Sample set one (in front): Majestic - ordered 4000 of them from Apache
- Sample set two: Paulson - As allready mentioned: I'm not sure yet
Possibilities:
Paulson National Poker series
Paulson Casino De Mexico
Paulson Horseshoe
Key West
Custom CPC chips, dealer button, card protectors, decks of cards, custom cases

Welcome.
Yes, you definitely need to add some clay chips to your collection, Paulson or otherwise.
I bet your countryman Kenny Halleart makes a very deep run at the Main Event this year.

Welcome indeed. Following the food analogy I suppose you could say as long as you can still afford to buy food you don't have too many chips.
