In most instances it probably means nothing. But it would be sweet for them to cater back to the custom Paulson home market.
At the very least hopefully they will work with 3rd party retailers (ala ABC) to design/produce chips for consumers.

The sale isn’t final, the SEC could potentially reverse the sale, shareholders can vote against the merger, other firms or entities could submit a more attractive offer (private equity, taking the company private, etc)
It’s difficult to predict GPI’s future, but I doubt they return to the home market anytime soon if ever.
I wonder what the negotiations were like...
ANGEL: "Any other markets or revenue streams we need to be aware of?"
GPI: "There's this small group of lunatic chip collectors who made a cruise line and bought almost a half-million dollars of poker chips from us and they want 'a lota moar chipes."
ANGEL: "Where do we sign?"
Dilly Dilly! This better be a group buy. PCF owned GPI for the win!
... shareholders can vote against the merger....
Not this. The article stated they already have 51%+ of their stock committed to the merger.
Nearly 70% of the stock is owned by insiders whom I’m certain voted for the merger,
Help me out. What’s the TFP mold?Dream scenario:
1. GPI gets bought out.
2. Buyer begins offering to the home market.
3. We get the BCC/Paulson/TRK color palettes.
4. Suits mold comes back.
5. TFP mold can be used again.
Look for GCOP, it uses that mold.Help me out. What’s the TFP mold?
I did too. But for a different reason. Wtf is an electronic shoe. I do think think I've ever seen one nor do I. I've long wondered about the use of any tech that can identify cards before their play.I read the article, which mentioned "Angel Eye Electronic Shoes." I momentarily WTF'd before I realized they were talking about card shoes and not the kind of shoes you wear on your feet.
In for $20 if we're doing a GoFundMe to beat the current bid.

Aren't those the guys buying GPI?
:coffee:
It’s always 50% chance. Either it happens or it doesn’t. Just like me sucking out on my 4 outers.
Excellent. Thanks! What’s the name of the mold used for the Le Noir chips?
