Does anyone know a good place to buy/sell/trade clubs with others? I’m considering getting rid of my Qi10 3W and 3H.
Bring the 3H with you to Dallas. I could be interested. Actually, I'll hit the 3W too and consider it. I have the Qi10 driver and I'm pretty happy with it. But I bought a Cobra 3W and all that damn thing does is go left!

Anyone do their own club regripping? I think I wanna do my own and I’m wondering if it’s difficult.

I’ve never done it myself but I’ve seen MANY people on instagram and YouTube show how and explain just how easy and cheap it is (with the proper equipment). I’m too lazy to do it myself and I also only change grips like once every few years so I just pay to have it done for me.

But with a vice grip, razor blade or special hook tool they use (not sure what it’s called) mineral spirits and double sided tape, you’ll be able to do it yourself. The hardest part will likely be removing the old tape and then applying the new grip and lining it up well. Might take you a few tries to get good at it but I’m sure most people would be able to do it successfully in 1-2 hours.

It is SO easy to regrip clubs, provided you have the right tools. A vice is a must.
If you have a vice, get a rubber Vice clamp for clubs (generally under $10)

To get the old grips off, get some hook blades for a utility knife, and it makes quick work of the grip:

Getting the residual tape off the club is the hardest part of the whole job.

Also, get some golf grip solvent or you can also use mineral spirits, and some double-sided masking tape. I have found GolfWorks as a great resource for everything golf equipment.

An alternative to using solvent to slide the grips on, if you happen to have an air compressor, you can shoot the grips on (and off, or adjust, etc) with just air. It’s crazy simple and ridiculously fast.

Now, if you are planning on a SuperStroke grip on a putter, have someone else do it. I have done a few and they are notoriously difficult. Nothing like taking a $30+ grip and having it go only half-way on the club…and not being able to take it off either. I never thought I would be totally out of breath putting a grip on a golf club! :ROFLMAO:

Unless the grip tape has been on the club for a very long time - more than 2 to 3 years, it generally peels right off. Since you should ideally regrip about once a year, this isn't normally a problem.

I just bought a new Callaway Quantum triple diamond driver…and I had, by FAR, the worst time getting the tape off that club. The grip couldn’t have been there more than a few months at most, but solvent and a light touch with a torch wouldn’t soften it. Drove me absolutely crazy.
