For something more modern, I really like this red $5:

Otherwise, I'm a sucker for a lot of the old school Vegas $5s:

However, I recognize that what likely should be selected as #1 will be a hub-shaped inlay...there are so many good ones! I can get behind the Saddle West or something else if there is a hub inlay with a more memorable inlay like the Dunes:

Also automatic entry for winning best red casino chip prior.

So good. Shaped inlay, inlay design, chip spots and colors.. all just perfect.

Others great as well- Tiger Bear Claws, Golden Eagle, Nuttalls topping list otherwise for me. Treasure Island is just something else.

Lets get a better photo in here:

But I will also say that if a TP chip isn't among the finalists for many if not most categories, it would suggest the competition isn't serious.
I'd argue that this "competition" isn't serious at any level.

It's a ranking and rating by a group. Whatever the latest and newest thing in that group is likely to "win".

It's debating personal tastes. I, for one, am not a fan of 90% of the Tiger chips and haven't been from the start. They are clearly designed to attract the majority of PCF, but do nothing for me. I've been fortunate to use them at a meetup and that still hasn't changed my feelings. That said, I expect most of the categories, once the dust on this particular iteration of this exercise is over to contain Tiger chips. Kind of like they would have included whatever the most recent NAGB was to do so similarly.

Bear-claw spots will always rate highly here. It's almost required to be part of a PCF chip favorite. That and 8-color 8-spot chips on CPC customs.

I contributed my two options and I also don't expect them to make the final voting, much like the last time this exercise was run. It's not a big deal as in the end it doesn't really matter, but it is fun to see what folks post and think are well regarded at this moment. It's like a time capsule of PCF at the end of 2025.

Love this argument, and the insight behind it.
And the Admiral/President $5 GD better be in the discussion, or this place has lost its soul!
