My understanding is that the standard color pallet is because of Atlantic City law. Nevada has no laws regarding chip color but casinos typically copy the AC standard. The big exception is $1 where its mostly split 50/50 between blue and white with blue becoming more popular as time goes on. I would be blue is the standard in like 20 years.Let's advocate a direct ripoff. I guess that's not new to Tina.

There are certainly plenty of examples of blue Vegas $1s, but it is by no means the standard.
