Anyone else wondering how they plan to tie Arya back into the storyline with everyone else? My theory:

She becomes a faceless assassin, then winds up given a mission to kill Daenerys or John after those two join forces. Maybe she fails, maybe she succeeds, maybe she balks at doing it and dies in the process for disobeying her god?

My guess is she learns discipline and learns how to be an assassin then leaves and kills everybody on her list.

I was wondering what happened to the hounds as well. There seemed to be a lot more in the Bolton party and then half of them plus the hounds disappeared.

I finally had the chance to see the episode again... all the men are accounted for, but they offer nothing about what happened to the dogs... or the horses, which are also absent from all the post-fight scenes.

So, obvious answer is obvious: the dogs rode off on the horses.

Seriously, though, I can rationalize away the dogs and the horses, but it's bad screenwriting & continuity to make me have to. I'm glad I didn't notice at the time, or it would have been irksome.

Otherwise, I've loved both of this season's episodes. Looking forward to tonight's!

Nobody cares about Sam and Gilly, just move along already, geesh!

And I could've sworn last weeks preview showed Jamie and his troops at the steps facing off against the Faith Militant. Pretty disappointed that didn't get shown in this episode, was really looking forward to it.

Best part of the episode for me was the flashback with the fight against Sir Arthur Dayne, that dude was 12 kinds of badass! I feel like they should take Arya's segment and toss in some music and do it up 80's montage style!

I read an explanation along the lines of they were tracking dogs (think they were bloodhounds from memory) not hunting dogs so it makes sense that they would run, rather than fight. The fighting dogs were locked up until last week whey they were served that sweet sweet, baby meat.

Man that last scene was hard to watch. Then I had to relive it on After The Thrones... rough. An enjoyable episode, though.

I may be not remember correctly, but I could have sworn the King's Moot was much more exciting in the books. Didn't it span several chapters from a couple different viewpoints? Might have to go read through it again. Was rather underwhelming, though I would have been equally disappointed, I suppose, if they had spent 15 minutes of the show on a bunch of people making debate speeches...

Really, the only thing I'm curious about when it comes to future episodes/seasons of GOT is how the hell are they going to pull of a scene with a dwarf riding a dragon and it not be completely awful / cheesy.

No Arya scene can be too long in my opinion, I would watch a show just based on her arc alone. And then you had Sansa confronting Littlefinger, Jorah and Daenerys having some resolution, and even the Ironborn storyline was compelling. Then you had Summer and Hodor going out as heroes in that climactic scene. I think someone must have been cutting onions nearby while I was watching. Hold that door indeed, big man.

Arya's scenes have been awful for the most part. At least she's actually about to do something now. So that might be interesting.
