Fugly Poker Table Thread (66 Viewers)

"Professional felt" is only useful with "Authentic Casino Weight" chips, so he's going to have to keep re-lisiting this for quite some time.
I keep being told casino weight is 13g...

So all the Paulson's I just bought are useless...

At least its only $30 too bad its 150 miles away it would be worth it for the pedestal

I bought a decent table off craigslist didn't have the heart to tell they guy that I was only interested in the base. $40 for a double pedestal base, although he might have gotten a little clue when I tipped it upside down in the truck bed.

This might actually be a pretty cool play table for some games. Poker, not so much......

Agreed. Nice board game table. Still can't unsee the vagina table. It may take a week.

When I built Mrs Zombie a sewing table that could easily convert to a poker table (or vice versa) I built 2 surface inlays - a cork board inlay and a padded surface. This guy managed both at the same time... oddly clever...

That said, it looks to be a fairly large table, which make it difficult for gaming unless you like to get up a lot to move markers on the far side of the table.

Handmade and yours for $50. A listing on Facebook marketplace.

Not too bad.
Not too bad unless...
  1. Rail-less table means chips always falling on the floor (unless spaceship's anti-grav device works outside of the ship)
  2. Ruts to hold chips mean never having nice stacks.
  3. 1/8" (or 3mm since it's Canadian) deep cupholders are useless for spill prevention, excellent for dirt retention
  4. Raised play surface means cards dealt over the edge will be exposed, unless inertia dampeners are online.
However it's vertical launch is pretty good...
