A friends table. Despite me being a Cowboy hater, this table is way too busy.
  • The cupholders are unfinished
  • The cupholders are too shallow
  • The felt looks like a 12 year old's bedsheets
  • The felt doesn't face any player
  • The felt isn't even lined up at the cross-section
  • Every player at the table has to choke at the end of the season

1/2 the playes will have some kind of off-the-felt issues

I put cupholders on my table like that.......they fold away so they can't even be seen when not used....keeps drinks below table level for ease of dealing and total lack of spillage.

Wooden table topper. Seller claimed they paid 900€ for it, asking price 300€.

Again, skillfully crafted, but why?

Wasted craftsmanship. Again, if cupholders are deep enough (which I doubt, on a topper) it could be fixed placing a neoprene playing surface within the area defined by the cupholders / carved chip racks.

I actually like that idea! That would be great fun to try! Imagine how low effort balancing tables becomes   "Yo Bob, move over here!"
