I think this is about the third time I've told myself I was done buying more chips so this time must be "the one" right? Well, that can't be true but I think it's about time I post some pr0n of my sets which may help me eventually decide which ones will be my "permanent" keepers.

I'm going to post one set at a time and edit the OP with links to the others as they're posted (edit: I think scrolling down two pages is easy enough). 100% of my budget went to chips so there was nothing left for a decent camera (not that I'm a photographer or anything). Should be better than nothing though :).

This is my most recent add-on/acquisition so I figured I'd start with it. I could probably use a few more T1000s and maybe even another rack of T100s or some T5ks+ but with this set I can run a 32 player 12/12/5/6/x tourney. I'm playing in a game next weekend that will have 36+ players and deep stacks so the extra chips might be nice if I were to use them for that though I'm sure there will be another opportunity for these to see play in a bigger game.

I think this set will be a keeper and if not I'm sure I know of a loving home where they could reside. I did oil a few of them and I think I will get around to oiling the full set at some point, though some of the odd quantities I bought were still chalky. I don't know if it was a coincidence that none of the chalky chips were spinners but there are definitely some spinners within the rest. I didn't count them yet but the T25s and T1000s seem to be the worst. It would be nice to fix them up at some point.

That's all I have for now though I might get around to posting a set of Paulsons tomorrow :).

Well, this was a struggle. For some reason today it seemed to take 5-10 minutes to attach one picture and 75% of the time they failed. Perhaps the chip gods do not approve of my mediocre pics... I'll see if I can edit more in later.

Anyways, even though I'm not a big fan of mixed sets this is one of my favourites (I can't take credit for the lineup, I pretty much followed a blueprint). I don't think I'd be comfortable putting these in play for a multi table game with a bunch of essentially strangers so perhaps one day I will trim.

Only 40 of the Casa $100s are overlabeled, not done by me. If I were to relabel some for this set I would switch the denom to red to more closely match the rest. I don't think I mind the overlabels too much in this case, as long as they're closer to matching the rest of the chips at 7/8". I don't really love the Casa $100s on their own either but I don't want to be the guy who murders them and puts them up for sale a week later.

I've considered other chips for the T5k+ like the ES fracs but I'm not too sure about them here. The lineup right now is fully leaded too so it kind of feels done but I'm sure there are plenty of chips I may have overlooked. Other opinions are certainly welcomed :)

Dude.

I'm still stuck on those Empress 1k's in the mixed set :)

Seriously, all three sets so far have been stellar. Can't wait to see what comes next!

I think most of what I have left has been posted somewhere already. Still, whether that's true or not they might as well all join this thread :)

So many of the AS T5s were turned into Aztar $5s...and they are perfect. Whomever thought of that should win a PCF Lifetime Achievement Award. Seriously.

And @Gear did an amazing job, as usual.

Only 3 of my racks are murdered. It'll probably be a while until I have the other 2 altered. Need a bigger game for that to happen but might as well be prepared just in case :). Still think they're better as Aztar $5s... in an AS set they'd just get colored up right away and make getting the T25ks on the table much more difficult!

I used to have a house big enough to host multi table tournaments regularly, now I'm stationed overseas (Japan) and have to live in base housing (shitty townhouse). It literally causes me physical pain seeing these huge sexy sets! I only have BARELY enought room for an 8 top where I'm at now.

Soooooooo close to rotating back to the states and then retirement. Soon my precious, soon...

I wasn't sure if this one would make it into this thread. With my big mixed THC tourney set owning these $25s-$500s doesn't seem overly necessary anymore. I do prefer a matching set but I might just part with the lower denoms if someone wanted all the $25s-$500s. Releasing any $1ks as well would certainly be a struggle but who knows...

The Empress chips were my first taste of minty leaded THCs and I was very much hooked. Built the set up to around 3000 chips if counting relabels but this is all that's left now for denoms under $1000.

I've often wondered about trimming this set. Pretty sure I'm never going to use it to it's full potential as a cash set so maybe I'd keep a single table tourney set of:

140 x $5s
120 x $25s
100 x $100s
40 x $500s
10 x $1k plaques

To make 9 4k stacks of 15/13/11/3/1. Chips would fit perfectly in a Nanuk 910 case. Hmmm...

Wow! This is bad. This is really really bad for me to see...

This user plays in my home game and now I will go even more broke trying to "help trim" the set...

Good Lord! How will I ever get away from this addiction. There is always something to pull me back in. I already have taken a bit of a PCA plunge, and I will need to see it through. FU@K!

I've sort of managed to split these into a cash and tourney set. The orange $5s don't work great with the $500s but I could still manage to build 10 200BB stacks with just the $5s-$100s. I much prefer the red $5s paired with the $1s in the cash set. Need to get the yellows milled too... debating between sawtooth and circle shape for them.

Some of the pics are old and some are newer. I didn't feel like cleaning all the chips by hand for a second time if I'm just going to sell them off again. I'm not sure what's going to happen.

These are some sweet Vegas chips so they're kind of tough to let go of! $5s are probably my favorites but I'm having a hard time finding much fault with any of them.
