Seem to spend most of my time during this isolation period planning for my trip to Vegas next year — not least my harvesting plans!

Have come to the conclusion that there are too many nice $1 chips on the Las Vegas Strip just to create one set with.

So, in true Scrub Donkey fashion, I'm creating two.

There will be two label designs: one using the Riviera logo because, with my surname being Rivers, one of my golfing buddies has always nicknamed me Riviera.

The other will be THE CARDiff CLUB: a simple play on words using my birth city.

There will be two themes: one set with traditional Vegas colours, the other using non-traditional-kind-of-Cali-inspired-but-mainly-whatever-looks-good-together colours.

Feel as though my Vegas one is nailed...

... But boy am I struggling with a potential frac for the second set.

Help me, PCFers. You're my only hope.

Just to note, I had difficulties picking up any venetian $1s. They were real stingey with them and I didn't see many in the tables that looked new.

Ahhhh, thanks for the heads up! Might try a Bally's $1 in that case, although that's a lot of blue shades in one set then.

If you decide on Red or Chocolate solid, then I've got a bunch I can mill for you. Feel free to PM if you want to discuss.
Cheers, my man! I know it sounds weird, but seeing as these are going to be label overs, I think having milled would tilt my OCD a little, unfortunately.

Yeah, was thinking yellow initially — and this particular CDM $1 spot pattern flows really nicely IMO. Relatively available on the market, too?

Even a solid yellow would work, I personally would try to find something with smaller edgespots that dont pull away from the other chips, but that's always easier said than done

Nice work on two sets!

Really like the CDM $1 in there, but the blue doesn't seem right to me. Maybe a darker/different blue? Example...(edgespots are off...)

Red or Yellow solid frac (or simple edge spot pattern) would work best imo.

Looooooove this chip... Never seen it before! Only problem being that I will probably want the bulk of the chips — especially the dollar chip as that will be my workhorse — coming from a Vegas casino so I can pick them up at face value, essentially.

Have you got an example photo at all, please?
Well, actually I guess Dayglo Green is a COC color and the Paulson equivalent I was thinking of is Sherbert Green. Though they do also have a Day Green. Here’s some links I found here:

Sherbert Green was the one of I was thinking of:

And here’s a thread of samples that has both Day green and Sherbert green:
