First Name Check In (2 Viewers)

Nico,
and like in other countries I guess,
Serge, Paul & Eugene !

Gil. Also a few too few characters for a post by itself, but you aren't talking to the other characters in my head (I AM the self entertaining model after all).

I wonder if this might get confusing as people switch back and forth between pseudonyms and real names?

Milo = Anthony. Anyone calling me "Tony" will be ignored.

Oh great.....I come over here from Big Blue and have just about got used to some different user names and now I have to get used to real names too  I'm Paul btw.

I agree with Milo013, that this may become a bit confusing as we are used to looking at forum user names beside posts and then someone starts posting that 'James posted earlier......'

Really? I don't understand. Most of us are guys and we tend to shorten/make nicknames all the time. Honesty it means we like the person. Well I suppose if your user name was Hancock and you shorted it to, well, ah, you know, I could see how one might be upset. But whatever Tomster. Just trying to have fun here.

definitely all this ^

revealing that one actually takes offense at someone using a shortened version of their name is the quickest way to get called the most juvenile version of their name by everyone i know.

MJ. I might also respond to Mike or Michael. In large groups MJ will always catch my attention, whereas Mike may be completely ignored, unless you grew up with a bunch of friends named Mike and have developed the ability to indicate which Mike you are referring to though vocal inflection (it really is a skill).

Robert. Not Bob, Bobby, Rob or Robby either.

I'm pretty sure the reference was to Red of ASM Vegas (Clay Rollah) - I can see why someone would not want to mistaken for him.:p

Thank you for your understanding![emoji22]

In all seriousness I was simply poking fun at Tommy in a PM.[emoji41]

In thinking about it more I've come to the conclusion that if "Red" is used more outside the context of ASM ruin then perhaps that's an overall positive result...

So call me what you wish! (within reason![emoji15][emoji12])

Cheers!

I too, am an Anthony. Although some people call me Tony, and some call me AJ. I'm fine with any of those, and have added my first name to my sig for ease of remembrance :)

Patrick or Pat and some friends call me occasionally Pat the cat. You choose. ;)
But please don't call me Paty. I can't stand that.

Bill. Although I answer to William I suppose, and my family and friends I've know since elementary school can get away with calling me Billy. And quite a few people in my local games call me Effin' Bill. I'm still trying to figure out why...
