Films that would make good chip sets (2 Viewers)

Uncut gems. Check out this scene at 4:40, "Hey KG, let me clean your earrings, I'll do it for free. I'll put them in the ultrasonic." (Some language NSFW)

Wait, you mean an ultrasonic can clean jewelry???

I thought about this Casino idea today, but I cannot go down the rabbit hole for another custom set as I have two custom sets in various states of production. Now who is going to be the first person that would able to tell me where the idea of this Casino came from? I wouldn't mind if someone stole this idea and turned it into reality.

This would be the name of the Casino.

These are some of the objects that I thought could be used for each of the different chip denominations.

That would be an awesome idea! Make 1/3 of them up to look like commemoratives, and the rest like "regular" Palace Hotel chips (a lot of leeway on that one).

If I ran a $1 - $2 game, I would absolutely do that with my $5s.

this is a great thread. i have always been a boondocks saints fan myself. would like to see that mock up by someone with more creativity than myself.

Has there been any chips made towards the good bad and ugly? With only three characters and three denominations on good chips how much would these cost to make?

In all seriousness I'm not aware of any but others may be.
Too make a custom set it obviously depends on what kind of chip you want and what kind of bulk you buy. Could be significantly less than a dollar each up to several dollars each.

I have no ideal on how much it costs to get a good print on a chip. It's seems like a shaded area...

If you are going with blank (or relabeled) chips, it would be the cost of the chip + the cost of labels (20-30¢ per chip). I could easily do the artwork for you if you went that route, gratis.

So they don't print the chip but use labels?

The question is what kind of chip? Ceramic would allow for a full-face print, and be cheaper, but clay or china clay or even slugged plastics which use labels would be the cost of the chip plus labels. You can easily get labels from @Gear or @ABC Gifts and Awards, depending on your needs. If you’re looking for ceramics, ABC or Sun-Fly would be able to do that for you. You could also get them cheap from China.

For all but "real" clay chips (CPC or Paulson), the image is a sticker. Usually vinyl-coated to protect the label from scratches, and to make it waterproof.

Real clay uses a hotstamp (monochromatic) or an inlay which is like a label, but is pressed into the chip when the chip is made.
