Figured they deserve their own thread, even if they do have all white dots!

I like them, for the price I'm stoked.

Feel free to add your own pr0ns to this thread.

I haven't oiled yet, no time, but will get to it one day and produce some better pr0n unless someone else beats me to it.

Some T5k stacks:

I'm a tad worried the 5k will get lost among the 500s after a few brews but we'll see how it goes:

I bet these pinks will look 10x better once oiled:

My modest little set of 500. I only run an 8 man game so this is perfect for T5k with re-buys or up to T25k with no re-buys. A very strict (nearly non-existent) budget meant I was limited to around 500 chips, but I can sense a small add-on soon:

Do they sound/feel like bcc or paulsons

I would say they feel more like Paulson chips than BCC chips. It’s hard to put into words, but to me they feel more buttery (softer?) than the BCC sample sets I have. They certainly feel different than RHC casino chips too though, so it’s a little hard to say. Probably the best bang for the buck though among all “budget” chips

I just pulled some chips out to compare. All of my BCCs (flame mold, t-mold and ciger+snifter) have a similar clack in terms of sound. The Paulsons (paulson mold, suits inlaid and hotstamped, RHC) all have a similar (but each different) sound which is less clacky and more warm than the BCCs. To my ears, the Elites sit somewhere between the majority of the Paulsons and the BCCs but more on the Paulson end of the spectrum. They actually have a really warm sound.

Feel is too early to say for me as I'm comparing brand new chips to used chips and I think the feel changes with some use. I'm not used to giant inlays.

I don't have pron to post right now, but I felt compelled to post somewhere how great these chips actually are. I have had my set of 1200 since May and can't say enough about the quality of the chip. I really like what they did with the chip considering the contstraints on edgespots and inlay.

I've been collecting for a about 25 years now and have seen a lot of changes throughout that time. I still have a tough time believing how expensive chips have become since GPI restricted the sale of chips to the public. For under a dollar a chip (while this is what I still consider a hefty price tag) you can't get closer to the look and feel of chips used in most casinos throughout the world, than what we see here. Call them Paulson Elites, GPI Lammer molds, Gemaco Home Game chips or whatever else you want to call them, but if anyone tries to say these are anything but the best (relatively) low cost 'clay' chips readily available to the public, they are insane. These are the only entry level chips that I would put in the same category with traditional PaulSon 'real clay' chips you see in casinos.

I wish we had more flexibility with edgespot punches and color, and sure, I'd love to be able to get custom inlays, but for what they are, and what is out there at this point in time, these can't be beat at this price point.

There I feel better now.
