In all seriousness, I have been trying to build out an AC and Taj Mahal collection and I hate the fact that the market is so high for the chips right now.
"market is so high"? does that mean some folks are actually paying that kind of price? We all { should} know a crazy high asking price that never results in a sale on eBay doesn't mean much - just an upper limit cap on the market value. Could be $409, could be $0.99, who knows?
Sold auctions might tell the real price if they aren't secret deals with no recorded price. Like a "best offer accepted" deal.
And one single chip selling might not be indicative of the market. Ideally we would be able to look at multiple sales to help set the market price.
That chip isn’t selling for this, but regardless, all of the Trump casino chips, particular the GO chips with his image on them are listed high and often seem to be selling at a decent premium over other notable AC casino chips.
These should be selling for like $5-$10 at absolute most. They don’t all sell for this much but there are way to many that do. There is definitely a Trump premium on these at the moment but who knows how long it will last.
