Does anyone collect casino dice? (3 Viewers)

My first pair of casino dice. From Del Webb's The Mint, Downtown Vegas. Love the translucent green!

Nice dice. Thanks everyone for sharing.

For those that have older dice, be careful if you see deterioration or discoloration. I am not sure why, but the older dice are made with a material can deteriorate. If you see it happening, make sure to quarantine that die from the others. I have read they can cause other die to age faster as well. I probably read it on the Chip Board, but can't recall exactly.

Oh i found it here.. This is a different article i have read, but talks about it toward the bottom.

I have a few pairs of casino dice (The Mint, Dunes, Pioneer) and they all have square edges just like the dice in the pictures above.

I've just bought these dice from eBay just because I liked the idea of a green pair of Dunes dice but I discovered they don't have square edges, just normal round edges, is that normal?

Can't find any of them on the chipguide either. Any idea if they are from the casinos or just replicas?

I have 1 set from Binion's. I'm sure they are cancelled, and imagine it is with some kind of inscription on the "6" side.

are they as big as craps dice ~just over 3/4" {.775} & referred to as "razor dice" because of the sharp edges. might you have pai gow dice? they are smaller & have rounded edges

I have 4 dice from the Grand Casino Gulfport. Since I was storing the chips in a case that has a compartment for dice, I couldn't resist.

The sharp ones are exactly 3/4" (19mm) the round ones measure just a bit less, about 18mm.

See pic below.
Never seen round ones from casinos.

Edit: Attached pic which got lost on the first post

interesting, i haven't seen rounded ones that big the pai gow dice are a little smaller. they are rounded so rolling them in the cup doesn't chip corners

I just started collecting Casino Dice a little bit ago. I've grabbed a few sticks off eBay, and also grabbed several sticks from The Chip Room.

My Luxor, Palms, Bally's and Circa sticks are all cancelled. I also have two sticks of Flaming Casino, Reno NV (not pictured) which are cancelled. They're all a bit dinged up - some more than others. None of them are drilled. My Bally's are the only stick without matching #s. But the Bally's I ran across, have the better (my opinion) dancer illustration.

I still want a stick of the new Bellagio, Paris, and a few more Vegas Strip dice.

Jack, Golden Gate and Hollywood casino sticks are all non-cancelled - all sold by the Chip Room. They are pristine with matching numbers. Edges and corners are sharp, no scuff marks or dings, beautiful clarity throughout.

If you want/need a few sticks of casino dice for some home games, highly recommend you shoot @TheChipRoom a message. I bought a couple extra sticks of Jack Casino for my dad. I bought a few extra sticks of Hollywood Casino for my wife's family's Holiday gathering game nights - there's about 50 us, and we end up playing cards and dice games all night. ...We are officially going to be the gaming providers. No more $3 deck of cards and dice combos from the gas station. LOL
