When side pot went out of business, what did they do with the molds? They certainly haven't resurfaced at CPC. If its widely known here I apologize but after searching and looking through a bunch of classifieds I figured it would be easier to just ask here to find out.

I thought that mold was with BCC .. and probably ended up in limbo/storage when GPI bought them...
@BGinGA may know if this is correct..

I don't think Sidepot is officially 'out-of-business', but Stephan definitely has other business interests which commands most of his time and focus.

Afaik, Sidepot's Paradise mold still resides with GPI, and the Courts & Numerals and Cigar & Snifter molds (both created for Sidepot and used by BCC) were transferred from BCC to GPI during the BCC buyout, along with BCC's Flame, Sun, and 50mm plain-mold.

Sadly, several outstanding privately owned molds used by BCC also got sucked into the GPI black hole during that transition (MGK, TFP, Web, Four Suits, and T-mold).

I would so love it if the C&S mold came back... it would perfectly fit the theme I am working on for my custom set

Might need to hunt down whats out there and relabel

You would think that a privately owned mold could be returned to the owner since it was not the property of BCC.

Yeah, you'd think so. I suppose that it's possible that some did -- I have no specific intel on whether the molds owned by TFP, HoldemPoker, Sidepot, or Dalton were returned eventually, but all indications are that they were not. Same for all of the custom hot-stamp dies ever created, which technically were paid for and owned by the customer(s).
