I didnt like the material of my felt, so i went with a chanman replacement.

From this (it was called the hofman felt/table)

To this (miami vice colors with mount pilatus)

(the table was delivered with the Hofman felt, first time changing cloths, and it shows, not that symmetric). Next time i think i will get some help or just buy a new table...)
Love the Pilatus cloth, do you live near there?
I was there in Lucerne a few years ago

I made my own design using the trial version of Adobe Illustrator, which was relatively easy to navigate. I tried the design in PDF, but the resolution wasn't good enough to get a nice crisp image for the sublimation felt.
The file from AI that I sent was EPS, and it was accepted. The maker did some tweaks as per my suggestion, and a week later they sent me a picture of the finished design for final approval.
This is the finished product. It may be a bit dirty as it has been used for 3 years, It does clean up well.

Would you happen to have a template so I can design my own?

I did have it, but my computer hard drive crashed and I lost many of my folders including the EPS files that I had for the pattern. I'll check my backup Cd's to see if I can find them. I found the EPS file for the design but it is too large to upload on this post. You will need Adobe Illustrator to be able to increase the size of the felt, change design etc.

@k9dr has a rink felt too. I noticed he added skate marks instead of clean ice. Images are out their on the web, I used one when I made a hockey banner for a youth hockey team. It's a nice subtle touch.

I wish that I could have found the skate mark background but at the time, I couldn't find one that was suitable.

I should have gone with some curved skate marks, but I am still happy with the result.

This is my secondary table topper, have oiled chips covering the main table. Same design though but with felt instead of the speed cloth

That looks great. Where did you get the skate mark background, Was it a vector image.
I think k9 used the same one that I used, and it was a huge vector image.

I toned my down a little, so it was more subtle. And it should go *over* the images, lines, logos, etc. as they are painted on the floor below the ice (but I understand wanting that center ice image to shine).

Hi everyone, Ray here from Chanman Poker Tables. I'm helping with the designs.

@k9dr Glad to see that the design turned out well.

Coincidentally, I've recently experimented with a more subtle skate-mark design with some curved lines (on a side project):

That seems like wishful thinking for Vancouver in 2023

Hi I am a newbie on here but love this site! Have a table that I want to upgrade and need some help please. I need to make it a little longer and wider to accommodate my new chairs. I was thinking to just redo the rail thicker and wider which should give me more room. I saw a photo I liked the style and color of and just now need some help.
I want to also raise the rail with led lights but have a custom panel like you have . Where did you get that?
Any other ideas would be appreciated and more than willing to pay for someone to do it! I am in Albuquerque NM
I am wanting my table railing to look similar to the last photo. But also now after seeing these custom felts may redo felt too!!
