Rooting for @Okku to drop in with that newly acquired tracking number …

Hey everyone, just got an update from Mel over at the manufacturer. Our order is officially in production and scheduled to be completed by 12/1. Once it ships out to me, I’ll post another update with tracking and the expected turnaround on my end.

Finalizing all of the proofs with the printing company and they'll fully be in production.

Sounds like most of them are done, the last batch that I got emailed is approved and will be pushed into production now.

Should have everything fully finally into production by the end of the week granted I don't keep running into issues with files etc.

We’re officially in production now!

I approved all of the proofs that were sent to me and haven’t gotten a response so I’m guessing that everything is in production now.

As I mentioned I have approved all of the proofs that were sent to me. I'm not sure if I receive a "Hey we're in production" email or not. If not, then these are fully in production. That's all I can say.

From my understanding we are in production. I’ve asked twice and haven’t gotten a respond back but that would to me mean that we are.

Nobody contacted me until about 30 minutes ago because I sent my follow up email. They need a final count per design which I will send today and we are in production.

Production has officially started. There were a couple small quantity discrepancies at first, but those have been sorted out and everything is now moving forward.
Probably this time it's true?

Really, we should all be cognizant when working with preferred PCF vendors.

Since all orders belong to some parent account, most cut card orders through Plastic Printers are tagged as PCF or placed under that account.

9 months of being in production, an absurd amount of designs (that they’re only collecting $20 per), along with multiple people reaching out for confirmation of order details that aren’t the primary contact for the order?

All for a sub $2k order (if it was 1k cards, no clue what total was).

If it was my company, sales region, or account, I’d ask that the PCF groups either find a “different provider that may be a better fit for your needs” or would discontinue bulk order discounts given “the complexity of your orders, including but not limited to the extreme amount of back and forth regarding design limitations and issues”.

Tl;dr - y’all want a discount on the order, I just hope they keep working with us/offering us bulk discounts

Idk how this company could be preferred for PCF anymore. Can’t imagine anyone willing to work with them again, and the only way they could rectify the situation is to not charge any design fees imho.

Not to “open” this up here, because again he has a lot he’s dealing with and they are “just” cut cards, but I think it’s pretty silly at this point to assume it was any/most/all the company’s fault.

There’s no need to rehash and pontificate about how much of it would be submitters fault and okkus fault, what supports that, etc.

But there’s certainly 0 reason from anything in this thread that would lead me to believe Plastic Printers is the one at fault.

I'd hate to have my company judged by this particular order, especially without the opportunity to represent my side.

You stated these were in production on November 13th as well, did that turn out to not be accurate?

Actually, it was November 9th.

Hopefully, you'll all excuse me if I don't hold my breath on this one either.

THIS. We need to ask for a kick back. Should I say OSCAR needs to ask for a kick back.
