Not sure why Tina and co. still used the original design submitted, and not the revised design I went over with her multiple times. Last time I spoke with her she reached out to me to confirm the previous changes I wanted and confirmed. Looks like they produced all the chips like this. May have been someone in manufacturing...

They still look great to me, outside of the thin white outlines and the red edgespot on the 5K wanting it change to a light pink to match the original WSOP Secondary '07 5K chip.

Same thing happened with Starlites  but again they still look great and can't beat that price

I'll try double checking with Tina. If they only produced a few chips and not the whole order, I can ask and hope they can produce the whole order with the correct design. If not, maybe I can sell them at exactly what I paid for these and get the correct design in the second group buy.

I really want these in time for a league I will help take over from the previous host, and wanted to have an actual good structure that it previously did not have. If not, I was planning on ordering a back up Monaco Casino set as a back up if one of us could not make to a tournament and the other brings the other set. A beta tournament for the new structure is in a couple of weeks.

It's interesting that some of these chips are being staged as sets with cases with cards and dealer button. Are you guys ordering these extras? Or perhaps the manufacturer likes your designs so much they're shipping these as sets to vendors?

Nope. Could most likely be the latter; would sell these as stock chips to others who visit their website.

I would not be surprised at all of we have just created the next generation of stock poker chips for the world. Congrats everyone!

I might feel bad being a hard-ass, but if you discussed changes, and they went ahead and produced the wrong design, I would not hesitate for a moment to insist that they re-do them.

That's my plan. But I have no idea if they would be willing to redo them at no charge, or even gove a discount, since they're outside the USA. I'll see what Tina and Co. say later this evening.

We have already given them a huge amount of business, and we plan to give them a lot more. It would be extremely foolish for them to not re-do something if it was clearly their mistake. Even partially their mistake.

A while back, shortly before I left my previous job, I was assigned to focus primarily on "value engineering." I quickly realized this meant "find things cheaper in China." I would source a manufacturer, provide and review a fully dimensioned and detailed engineering print, and without fail, they would send back something that kinda looked like what I requested, but did not ever actually meet the drawing. It was infuriating, and high on the list of reasons why I left that job.

In other words, this couldn't surprise me less.
