CPC Move Updates (83 Viewers)

And it looks like the ordering disclaimer is gone. Does that mean they are taking orders as of today?

What I don't get is why they would pay for a vendor role and accept people bashing them on their paid thread. If I were them I would ask that all complaints be made in the general forum section, not on their vendor page.
A modicum of professionalism with communication would’ve avoided 99% of it 🤷🏻‍♂️

Looks like pricing was updated today

My last order I received right before the move was CSQ L3 which was $3.09/chip. New price is $3.24 which is a 4.9% price increase. Not too bad at all. So if you can keep your design at L4 or L5 and below you should still be in the $3-$4 cost per chip. That's not bad for a fully custom design.

For sure. Very pleased with this development. Ewing is calling my name.

I sent a few emails to CPCs to order some chips and boxes, but have received no reply. Frustrating.

EDIT: After reading further about this CPC situation, I have a better idea of what Mike is going through. He is taking on a sizable project and I will give him my patience and support. I'm a business owner too, and can understand what he is going through. Moving a shop isn't easy or cheap, especially when you consider the distance in this case. Good luck to Mike and to the future of CPC.

@Irish I emailed him about a similar situation this morning and no reply. I have vacation coming up and it’s hot here right now (heat index over 100) and we’re starting the rainy season. Can’t have em sitting outside.

Just to update. I did hear back from @CPC_Mike and they are finishing up the first few molds and moving on to the next batch. I am still a few molds away (E&C) and he hopes to know more on when mine will run at the end of the month.

I’m happy to see they are not Red Ott style.
Forgive my dumbism - i don‘t get what Red Ott means…?!
No doubt they look cool and happy they‘re finally producing chips now : )

…but they also look cool and handmade if the spots are placed on every chip the same.

Redd Ott was the owner who bought ASM and then moved the operation to Vegas. He nearly killed the company by making crap chips/QC and garbage customer service.

For another data point, I reached out to Mike to ask about timing for taking new orders and didn't get a response. That was a few weeks ago, so the generous and my preferred optimistic view is that they're busy pumping out the orders.

Where are the shipping notification posts? Only one mysterious friend who doesn’t want their chips posted has any incoming/received any on all of PCF?

I’m not saying CPC is lying about getting chips out. I’m just very confused

I know it's crazy hot where I am. CPC chips don't like the heat so maybe that plays a part? I know I'd rather not receive melted chips.

I have talked to Dave previously about hot/cold temperatures and yes, heat can cause issues but I would be shocked if that was keeping product from being shipped out. I guess time will tell.

EMAIL FROM MIKE!!!! WOOOOOOOHOOOOOO:ac::kc::qc::jc::tc:

I'm quite pleased to announce that we're now ready to take new orders again! Our new factory in Woodinville, WA is up and running and we've been working on and shipping backorders for the past two months. Please read the following information carefully before inquiring about placing an order:

- We still have a backlog of orders that we need to complete before we begin manufacturing on any new orders. We anticipate being able to start on new orders around October.

- We manufacture the exact same product as was made in Maine under the previous owners. We use the exact same materials, recipes, equipment and some of the same people. The colors, spot patterns, etc., are all identical.

- Stock Chips (Rounders, Atlantic Club, Chesterfield). We have a limited number of Rounders available now and will be having more in stock over the next months. Atlantic Club and Chesterfield are available now.

- Samples. We're working on replenishing our sample supply and do not have many samples available at the moment.

- The quickest way to get a quote and get an order in is to send me the following:

* Name
* Address
* Phone
* Email
* Your custom order request from pokerchipdesigntool.com
* Payment type (paypal, check, wire)

- Patience! We've had hundreds of requests for orders since we've been closed for the past year+. I'm anticipating getting an avalanche of new orders so it will be a little slow to work through them.

I truly appreciate your business and the patience you've given me over the past year and half. It was a massive endeavor to move the factory across the country, refurbish the equipment and create an entirely new infrastructure. The factory is well set up for many years to come and to be able to grow and scale. My goal has always been to cut the order time down from months and years to weeks. It will still take some time to get there but we're well set up now.

thanks,
Mike

My order’s in! And now we wait…

Where are you guys finding the new price list? When I click pricing on their website, it gives me the 1/4/2025 price list. Also, their ordering page says still paused.

I haven't been really paying attention lately, but has anyone posted a full set somebody ordered that came from the new factory yet? If so, was any shipping notice given at all beforehand? I ask because I am scheduled to go on a vacation for a week in August and another at the end of September. Last thing I need is a somewhat decent size package sitting on my porch for week just showing up unannounced. Yes, I could ask the post to hold my mail, I'm aware, thank you. The question remains.

Was this a proactive email? If so I'm wondering where the mailing list is being handled. I got the updates from Jan and May but not this one, and I even have an order waiting for production.

So no changes have been made? No new web site, same payments options, same stock sets etc..?

What happened to the design contest?

And you just have to pay the whole thing upfront and pray?
