Imagine they had great marketing, were putting out fantastic content, getting lots of new orders, hyping up new options and add-ons…
And if even one set of chips was delivered that didn’t meet expectations PCF would rightly howl in pure outrage and indignation

2026 standards of business. Who cares if you’re worth a shit at customer service. Who cares if your communication is pure shit. Who cares if your turn around time is absolutely insane. The list of acceptable grievances grows longer by the day, as long as we can cling on to some small hope that we won’t get completely screwed in the end. To each their own, but no thank you. Maybe it’s hokey, but I still believe in the Golden Rule. For life and business. Treat others how you’d like to be treated. If poor treatment is just part of it, I’ll either skip whatever “it” is or spend 100x if necessary, to seek an alternative where me and my money are appreciated.

You would think that if they are going to be taking orders soon they would let people know if prices will be increasing so customers can plan accordingly. But this is the new CPC we are talking about here. That would make too much sense.

Well, I can just quote an email. And while I also think communication is probably not Mike's/new CPC's biggest strength, I think calling a message from them fake news (or in other words, an outright lie) is quite harsh. Mike never made any promises on communication or when the whole operation would be running smoothly again, the estimates were way off. The new CPC has given me reason not to rely on any timeline they set out to follow, but for me, there's no reason to assume they try to deliberately mislead customers.

I think it's fair game to say that you'll believe it when you see it.
I can say with 100% certainty I have seen a new DSQ chip from a friend that was delivered this past Saturday (which arrived unannounced). It was a small order. They still have a full different set on the same mold pending. I'm obviously not at liberty to share their stuff, but it does seem something has at least gone out and is a good sign things are trending in the right direction.

Sure, but that's a bit of a different tone than calling something fake news. But in general I agree, being a skeptic is usually a good thing. So I'll refrain from further splitting words.
You could try to convince your friend to share pics of their chips... I have the slight suspicion PCF is desperately yearning for this ^^
