CPC Future Design Input (1 Viewer)

If you are looking for a vote, I like the bright white better and my eye can't seem to get past the two different color smaller hashes. I think it will look better if all the smaller hashes are the same color and maybe that is where you get the dayglo tiger.

I changed the theme from my initial iterations to match company logos for the most part. In talking to Dave at CPC, he also recommend I stay away from the 1/8 inlays in lighter retro colors to avoid split spots.

This will be my 2 final designs I narrowed it down to. Still waiting on inlays so one may be better than another based on the inlays.

Not a fan of mixing different text styles front and back - not sure which I prefer though.

Theme of chips are two different company logos, so that’s done on purpose.

I’m debating whether to put the denomination in the block style inlay or just the words.

I think if you are mixing the two logos, you go option 3. I like the denomination being on both sides.

What's everyone's thoughts on keeping the fireworks inlay on one side with no words or denomination, and the other side with words and denomination? The first option.

I am a firm believer that denomination should be on both sides, but they don't have to be exactly the same style. For example, you can do "$5" on one side and "FIVE DOLLARS" on the other.

Probably the final design. Changed the denomination background and reversed in on the one side of the inlay. Just waiting for the 1, 25, and 100

Subtle change, but I like the black background over the white background. It seems to take less away from the firework background.

Late to the party.

The fireworks alone looked odd to me- kind of a colorful bunghole.

The reverse side- only the $5 has a denom. Is that intentional? Also, it looks like it’s a black box background to the number? If you add the denom, I’d take a second look at that. It’s hard to see in detail, but with the denom, it looks like it was just a basic box and a design error. I get that the style aligns with the name, but it’s also ok for the denom to look different as it isn’t part of the brand logo.

Yes, intentional. Designer hasn’t completed the rest, and the plan is to increase the size of the font inside the box.
